Client need

As part of the launch of his law firm, after several years of practice with a renowned criminal law firm, Pierre Vinot, a lawyer at the Paris Bar, wanted a website.

The main objective identified for this website was to establish the firm's digital presence, by creating a showcase site that would enable visitors to learn more, but above all to find the firm thanks to respect for good SEO practices.

Finally, the client expressed the wish to offer answers to the questions he is most often asked, in order to differentiate himself from other lawyer websites and provide concrete answers, inspired by his years of practice.

Brand identity

Once the objectives had been defined, an initial design phase was launched, to co-construct the identity of both the site and the firm.

Starting with an existing black-and-white logo, we explored several color, typography and layout options to create a distinctive identity. After careful consideration, the choice fell on Slab fonts, which are consistent with the client's business, and a distinctive deep green color, which allows the firm to stand out in its competitive environment.

On this basis, additional branding elements (business card, e-mail signature) were created.

Design

Once the graphic identity had been defined, the site design phase began. An initial phase of understanding the content imagined for the site and co-constructing the structure was initiated, to arrive at a validated tree structure that highlights the firm and its differentiating points.

Based on this tree structure, UX mock-ups were created to agree on the structure of each page and generate a copydeck, enabling the customer to indicate the desired texts and images for each page. On this basis, an exchange takes place with a view to content clarity and SEO strategy for a light rewriting of this content.

During this phase, the question of how to name the section in which Pierre Vinot could answer the most frequently asked questions arose. After some discussion, the decision was made for "Question de droit(s)", as a title that would meet the desired clarity and salience.

Finally, based on the graphic identity and UX mock-ups, UI mock-ups were created to enable discussions on the site's definitive look & feel.

Content & development

The site was developed on Webflow, in a responsive way to adapt to the uses of Pierre Vinot's customers. It was designed to evolve easily, so that the customer could develop the content as independently as possible.

Once the entire site had been developed, a pre-production link was provided to the customer to make final adjustments and validate the launch.

Launch and customer satisfaction

The go-live was managed to ensure end-to-end project control, and complete satsifaction.

Google Analytics was added to the site, to enable a more complete understanding of site usage and identify possible evolutions. Finally, a cookie policy manager has been configured to ensure that legal issues are respected.
