MG Motor was launching its very first client portal, aiming to engage and retain its customers. The technical connection was at the heart of the brief, but the platform had to offer real functional value from V1 on, to create actual usage. It therefore had to give a concrete reason to log in, while sequencing the remaining functionalities coherently.
I led the entire functional framing: interviews, then co-creation workshops on the users journeys, the information architecture and the technical-functional blueprint. After this UX research phase, I designed the wireframes for the whole platform, building a functional, scalable design system able to carry both the MVP vision and the portal's later versions.
By anticipating the platform's target vision, I set the conditions for a controlled, long-term integration that anticipates error cases.
I briefed and led the UI design team finalizing the platform's interfaces. This was the first application of the brand's new visual identity, so it had to meet technical, functional and brand-image stakes at once to reach MG Motor's business goals.
